A Beatles's inspired One Shot for D&D 5e.
I proudly present my first homebrew adventure for D&D 5E: The Jingles need your help!
In this adventure, designed to last a 4-5 hour session, the adventurers will be hired to help four bards who are in trouble after their fans have started to get madly obsessed with them.
Inspired by The Beatles, this adventure is humorous and full of references to the most memorable moments in the band's history, as well as being filled with striking characters and a dark mystery behind the scenes of the unsuspecting city of Riverblue that it will be up to adventurers to solve.
The adventure was designed for a level 1 party, so I thought it was a good idea to insert mechanics that would help beginning players learn the rules and get to know the Dungeons and Dragons system better, like an encounter where they can't use lethal force (encouraging them to use other combat actions like Grapple, Dodge, Dash, Disengage, Shove and to strategically cast non-damaging spells) and also a situation where they need to pass through a crowd without being seen (encouraging them to interact with the objects in the scenario and use the abilities that are on their sheets).
The cover art was done by my sister Aline de Lucia, to whom I heartily thank. On this link you can help me raise the money to pay her for this beautiful drawing:
She and I really appreciate your help!
On this link you can download the color PDF file, a printer friendy version (black and white) as well as the color maps in JPG (for Roll20) and printable PDF as well as minimalist black and white versions in JPG and PDF:
I hope you enjoy the adventure and stay tuned as I'm working on a few more (including a sequel to this one).
